Rose M. R. Little - Attorney

1988 Graduate of the New Mexico School of Law.  Upon graduating from law school she worked for a law firm specializing in Bankruptcy in the summer of 1988 and became a shareholder shortly thereafter.  In July of 1999, Rose Little started her own firm which is now Little & Dranttel, P.C., dedicated to representing creditors.

Admitted to practice in all Courts in the State of New Mexico, the United States Bankruptcy Court, the United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals.  Additionally, practices in all New Mexico Tribal Courts including but not limited to Acoma, Isleta, Laguna, Mescalero, San Felipe, San Juan, Zuni, Taos, Tohono O’Odham, and UTE.

Born El Paso, Texas; admitted to bar, 1988, Graduated from New Mexico State University with honors (B.A., 1985); University of New Mexico summa cum laude (J.D., 1988).  Member:  American Bar Associations Section Member of: (Corporation, Class Action Defense, Banking and Business Law); State Bar of New Mexico (Members Section on:  Real Property, Corporation and Bankruptcy); taught seminars on Foreclosures, Creditor Collections, Fair Debit Collection Practice Act and Creditor Bankruptcy.

Elizabeth M. Dranttel - Attorney

1991 Graduate of the Wake Forest School of Law; joined the firm of Little & Dranttel, P.C. in July 1999 and began working as an attorney with Rose Little in July of 1998.

Born on Andrews AFB, MD, Elizabeth Dranttel graduated with honors from Elon College in 1988 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications (Presidential Scholar, member of the National English Honor Society).  She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest School of Law in North Carolina in May of 1991 and was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1992.  While in law school, she participated in the Clinical Program (Forsyth County D.A.’s office and Legal Aid Society), Moot Court competitions, Stanley

Cup Trial competitions and the Guardian Ad Litum Program.  After working and traveling throughout Asia, she settled in New Mexico in April of 1996 and was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in 1997.

She is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of New Mexico.

Peggy Whitmore - Attorney

A 1995 graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law, Peggy Whitmore practiced law with the firm of Puccini & Little, P.A. from 1995-1998 and rejoined the firm of Little & Dranttel, P.C. in 2004.  Between 1998 and 2004, Peggy was employed as a trainer with ProLaw Software in Albuquerque, New Mexico and traveled around the U.S. and Canada helping law firms. While in law school, Peggy was a case note editor for the New Mexico Bar Review, a member of the mock trial team and graduated with honors.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Peggy was employed as a paralegal from 1982-1992 working primarily on creditor rights.  She obtained a bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University in 1982 and a paralegal certificate with a specialty in Estates, Trusts and Wills from Roosevelt University in 1982.   Between 1982-1992, Peggy has worked for law firms large and small, has been a teacher in a court reporting school and was once employed as a paralegal for the U.S. Government at Arsenal Island in Illinois. 

Peggy is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico and the Navajo Nation Bar Association and is admitted to practice in various tribal courts.

Justin SawyerAttorney

Graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in May of 2007, Justin Sawyer served as Articles and Comments Editor of the Business Law Review.  During law school, he worked as a law clerk for Klein & Sallah, LLC, and interned for the Miami-Dade Office of the Public Defender as a Certified Legal Intern.  Prior to commencing his legal education, Justin graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in Economics in 2003, and a M.B.A. in Financial Management in 2004. Joined the firm of Little & Dranttel, P.C. in May of 2007. Admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in September of 2007 and the Navajo Bar in October of 2007.

Cody Lujan – Attorney

Born and raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  Attended Carleton College where he played NCAA baseball and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2001. Cody is a 2007 graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Law.  While in law school Cody clerked for the Law Office of Ousama M. Rasheed, and practiced in UNM’s family law clinical program.  Cody also worked as a licensed fly-fishing guide in the state of Alaska for several years prior to, and after his first year of law school. 

Admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in September of 2008, Cody joined the firm of Little & Dranttel, P.C. in October of 2008.

Timothy J. Murphy – Attorney

Born in Mission Viejo, California and raised in both Irvine, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tim returned to the Duke City in 2006 to attend the University Of New Mexico School Of Law.  In law school he worked in the Business & Tax Law Clinic and participated in an externship with the California Court of Appeal.  Tim graduated from the School of Law in December 2008, and joined Little & Dranttel, P.C. after passing the February 2009 New Mexico Bar Exam.  Tim is a January 2006 alumnus of the University of San Diego where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Information Systems.

Admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico April 2009, Timothy joined the firm of Little & Dranttel, P.C. in March of 2009.
