Staff Biographies

Eraina Edwards – Law Clerk

Born and Raised in Albuquerque, NM. She graduated with honors from Monzano High School and summa cum laude from UNM with a B.A. in psychology and Art Studio with an emphasis in painting. Currently she is a law student at UNM School of law. Eraina anticipates graduating in May of 2010 with a Juris Doctorate.

Matthew Danner – Law Clerk

Matthew Danner was raised in Albuquerque, NM.  He graduated from New Mexico State University with Honors in 2007 with his BA in Criminal Justice.  Matt now attends the University of New Mexico School of Law where he is pursuing his Juris Doctorate and serves as a board member for the Business Law Society.  He anticipates graduating in December of 2010.

Candra Rivers – Law Clerk

Candra Rivers was born in Monroeville, AL, but raised in Hanau, Germany.  She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science. She is currently a law student at the University of New Mexico School of Law, and anticipates graduating in May of 2011 with a Juris Doctor.  She came to Little & Dranttel as a Law Clerk in the Summer of 2009.

Chris Atencio – Law Clerk

Raised in Albuquerque, NM, Chris received a B.A. with honors from the University of New Mexico in Political Science and a minor in Earth and Planetary Sciences.  He is currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate at the UNM School of Law and anticipates graduating in May of 2011.

Tracy Rivers – Business Manager

Born in Big Spring, Texas and raised in Midland, Texas.  Six years accounting experience from Price Waterhouse in Dallas, TX before moving to Albuquerque, NM in 1990. She began working with Rose Little in 1991.  Joined the firm of Little & Dranttel when it opened as Office Manager.  Is in charge of the billing department and daily business operation of the firm.  Notary public for the State of New Mexico.

Janet Sieger – Accountant

Born and raised in Missouri.  Following high school obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Comprehensive Accounting from Missouri State University in Springfield.  Following several years of experience in management level accounting positions attended Drury University in Springfield and received her M.B.A. in 1995.  Started own international accounting company in 1999 and has provided accounting & consulting services to Little & Dranttel since November of 2000.  Specialty is management accounting and consulting, general ledger review and compilation of financial statements.

Pamela Cason – Office Manager

Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM.  Worked as a business manager overseeing 3 charter schools handling all of the Human resources, Accounts payable and receivable for 3.5 years.  The next three years were spent running a mortgage business in which she oversaw all accounting, human resources, and processing departments.  Joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in June of 2007.

Becky Roy – Operations/Quality Assurance Manager

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Attended CNM with a focus in Psychology.  Worked at ProLaw software for four years before running her own insurance agency.  Becky works with the staff in training and updating documents, forms, and pleadings.  Joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in December of 2007.

Luis Brown – IT Infrastructure Manager

Born in Tucson, Arizona, Luis moved to NM in 1980. With over 27 years experience in all aspects of Information Technology, Luis is particularly skilled in software development, network design and network administration.  He holds Microsoft Certifications in Systems Engineering and Database Administration.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico with a concentration in Operations Management.  He recently completed his MBA in Finance at UNM.  He joined Little & Dranttel in January of 2009.

Courtney Arnold – Paralegal/Team Leader

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Graduated from the University of New Mexico, Bachelor of Arts Degrees in English and Political Science.  Legal experience in areas of Creditor’s Rights, Replevin, Bankruptcy, trial practice and collections.  She handles contested matters as the lead litigation paralegal. Notary Public for the State of New Mexico.  Joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in September of 2002.

Shaylynn McKinney – Paralegal/Team Leader

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and raised in both Albuquerque, NM and Texas.  Eight years of Paralegal experience, specializing in Defense and Civil Law, prior to joining Little & Dranttel in December of 2005. Specializing in all Creditor’s rights including replevin, collection and bankruptcy.  Notary Public for the State of New Mexico.

David Washburn – Paralegal/Team Leader

A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, received his Bachelor’s degree in 1976 from the University of Albuquerque and a Masters of Business Administration in 1992 from the University of Phoenix.  Worked as a Paralegal for several local law firms, an Administrator for the University of New Mexico, before joining the firm in 2005.  Specializing in all Creditors’ rights including title work, bankruptcy and judgment.

Denise Magallanez – Paralegal

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, resided in The Republic of Panama, Kansas, and currently a 13 year resident of New Mexico.  Approximately 13 years experience in the legal field in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and Creditor Rights.  An additional 7 years of secretarial experience in the aircraft industry with a secret clearance and various NAF positions with the U.S. army.  Notary Public for the State of New Mexico.  Currently, she is concentrating on training and special projects. She joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in January of 2002.

Katherine Owens – Paralegal

Born and raised in Kansas.  Katherine graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology in 2000.  Her legal background and experience includes Worker’s Compensation, Municipal, Creditor’s Rights, Replevin, and Collections.  Katherine joined Little & Dranttel in 2001 and rejoined the firm in 2007 after attending Southern Illinois University School of Law from 2003-2006. 

Elizabeth Doyle – Paralegal

Born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Extensive traveling as a child due to military family.  Graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque, NM in 1981 and attended one year at the University of New Mexico before traveling to

Kauai, Hawaii.  Moved to San Diego, California where she gained experience as a Legal Secretary specializing in Entertainment Litigation.  Moved back to Albuquerque and joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in December of 2001.  Promoted to Paralegal Assistant handling Creditor Rights issues in October of 2004.  Notary Public for the State of New Mexico.

Dolores Velasquez – Paralegal

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Graduated from St. Pius X High School and attended the University of New Mexico for 2 years.  Worked as a Sr. Loan Processor for over 12 years.  Joined Little & Dranttel in June of 2007.  Notary public for the State of New Mexico.

Shannon De La O – Paralegal

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, raised in San Antonio, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Currently finishing her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science & Criminology with a minor in Spanish.  Plans to continue her education in Law School with concentration in Civil Rights. Legal experience in the areas of Civil Defense, Insurance Defense and Subrogation.  Notary Public for the State of New Mexico.

Susie Kolinsky – Paralegal Assistant

Raised in New Jersey and gradually relocated to New Mexico.  Graduated from Santa Fe Community College in Florida with an Associate of Science degree as a Legal Assistant and an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology.  Joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in June of 2002 as a Legal Secretary and promoted to Paralegal Assistant in January of 2003. Experience with Creditor Rights including title searches, service of process and judgments.  Notary Public for the State of New Mexico.

Leslie Prince – Paralegal Assistant

Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. She worked as a Certified Nursing assistant for the past seven years, while pursuing a paralegal degree with the metropolitan college in Albuquerque, NM. Joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in December of 2007.

Katie Daly – Paralegal Assistant

Katie was born in Prescott, AZ in 1985 and has moved all over the nation due to having a military family.  She graduated from Desert High School, Edwards AFB and has attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix and Yavapai College. In 2004-2007 she worked on a Social Science degree at Cerro Coso College and moved to Rio Rancho in October of 2007.

Nicole Marsters – Legal Secretary

Nicole was born in Texas and, after having moved all over the country, landed in Albuquerque in 1992.  She graduated from The University of New Mexico in December of 2000; Nicole received her Bachelors degree in both Political Science and English.  After interning in the political field while in college, she has since then become active in politics.  Nicole joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in February of 2009.

Mary Juline L’Esperance –Office Assistant

Born and raised on the Central California Coast. Diploma in Office Technology and Computer Operations. She has worked for over 20 years in the Administrative field which includes a legal background, law enforcement and the entertainment industry. She plans to continue her education and receive a paralegal degree within the next two years. She joined the firm of Little & Dranttel, P.C. in December of 2008.

Robert Parker – Jr. Network Administrator

Born in Richmond, Indiana and raised in New Mexico. Has obtained his A+ Computer Repair Certificate and is now working on achieving the Network+ Certification.  He is currently attending the University of New Mexico to pursue a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. He joined the firm of Little & Dranttel as an information technology assistant in May of 2006.  

Tommie J. Waldo – Accountant

Graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Pre-law English from the University of New Mexico.  Graduated with 4.0 Honors from Eastern New Mexico University with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegalism.  Graduated with 4.0 Honors from Albuquerque TVI with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting.  Currently a CPA candidate, having passed all sections of the Uniform CPA Examination.  Fifteen years of accounting management experience specifically for law firms, of which six years has been in New Mexico for law firms specializing in Creditor Representation for foreclosure, bankruptcy and eviction.  She joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in November of 2005.

Stephanie Howe – Accounting Administrator

Born and raised in Ottumwa, IA. Moved to New Mexico after high school. She received her associates degrees in accounting and business form Santa Fe Community College. She worked doing sales auditing and payroll for the last several years.  She joined the firm of Little & Dranttel in November of 2007.

Dawn Martinez – Accounting Administrator

Born & raised in NM, Dawn has an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies.  Currently attending CNM for Accounting and transferring to the UNM Anderson School of Management for her Bachelor’s in accounting next year.  Dawn has three years accounting experience prior to joining the Firm in November of 2007.

Kara Robertson – Billing Administrator

Born in Johnstown, PA, raised in Chicago, IL and Los Alamos, NM.  Worked in several accounting positions in Los Alamos, NM.  Prior to joining Little & Dranttel, she worked as an Accounting Assistant at the University of New Mexico while attending school; joined part-time with Little & Dranttel in August of 2005 as an Accounting Clerk and continued as an undergraduate; received Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry magna cum laude in May of 2006; assumed new duties as Billing Administrator in February of 2007.

Marc Katz – Accounting Assistant

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  Raised in NM.  Graduated in 2007 from CNM with an associate’s degree in Accounting.  Worked at both Tax Help New Mexico and for a private firm preparing taxes before joining Little & Dranttel in May of 2007.

Jim Johnson – Courier

Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas.  Attended West Texas State University.  Enlisted in the USMC in 1965 and served until 1968.  Moved to Albuquerque in 1983.  Joined Little & Dranttel in November of 2006 as the runner and closed file clerk.
